2026 MICHELIN Guide Restaurants Recognized in Breckenridge, Colorado
Gold helped Breckenridge stake its claim to fame in the 1800s, and now this mining town-turned-outdoor-recreation-mecca has a shining new accolade to boast: a MICHELIN Guide recognition. For the first time, the MICHELIN Guide’s anonymous inspectors ventured beyond Denver, Boulder, Aspen and Vail to identify who else in Colorado is deserving of one of the most sought-after recognitions in the culinary world. Thanks to a years-long effort from local chefs and restaurateurs, your day among our elevated peaks can end with truly elevated eats.
The MICHELIN Guide has announced its Breckenridge selections for 2026. Congratulations to these restaurants for their inclusion in the MICHELIN Guide!
The MICHELIN Guide also awarded Radicato’s Chef de Cuisine Cameron Baker with the 2026 Young Chef Award.
According to the MICHELIN Guide, Baker’s experience with “the state’s harvest and sharp kitchen instincts have elevated him to the top of the local (culinary) scene.” A New Hampshire native, Baker moved to Summit County in 2002 before embarking on his culinary journey in 2006 at age 15. He received his culinary education from Colorado Mountain College alongside working under storied chefs. After a stint working for Mercantile Dining & Provision in Denver, he returned to Summit County in 2020 to assist Chef Matt Vawter in launching Rootstalk as the Chef de Cuisine.
