A Quest for Ullr
Legend has it that the reason Breckenridge gets 300+ inches of annual snowfall is due to Ullr, the Norse god of snow. He, like many others, visited Breckenridge, fell in love with our mountain town and never left. Each year during Ullr Fest, our community prays for epic pow days and celebrates all things winter and snow. Join us in the Quest for Ullr to prove your dedication- only those who beat the challenge are worthy.
20+ challenges. 1 snowy adventure. Gather up your team and solve puzzles, complete challenges and explore historic landmarks. This interactive scavenger hunt combines the fun of the Amazing Race with a 2-hour sightseeing tour of Breckenridge. Guided from any smartphone, groups will make their way through the town, solving clues and completing challenges.
· Solve clues, complete challenges
· See sights, learn local history
· Start when you want & play at your own pace …all guided from any Smart Phone
This is the perfect activity for groups, large or small, interested in seeing the most well-known sites as well as the often-overlooked hidden gems Breckenridge keeps secret. Race to be the first to finish the game, or take as much time as you need, learning about local history along the way. Don’t forget to stop and warm-up with some hot cocoa at our local artisan coffee shops around town!
Don’t worry, you won’t be alone. You’ll have a remote guide texting you during your game if you need help or have a question. They will also encourage you and give hints and tips for success.
*All participants will be required to wear viking helmets while questing and regularly chant Ullr, Ullr, Ullr!
