Colorful flowers outside in downtown Breckenridge

Skiers, foodies, families and seasonal visitors—here’s where to find the provisions you need to stock your cupboards and make delicious meals. In Breckenridge, you’ll find all of your favorite staples, pre-made meals and trail-friendly foods alongside Colorado-made goods (think craft beer, gourmet chocolates and regionally farmed cheeses).

  • Local’s Tip: For the best experience, shop early in the morning or midweek and avoid peak times like Friday afternoons (when weekend visitors arrive).

BYOB (Bags & Bottles)

The Town of Breckenridge has a bag fee of 50 cents per bag at shops around town, restaurants and grocery stores. Visit like a local and bring your own reusable shopping bag or purchase one at the Welcome Center on Main Street. They make great souvenirs too! You might also notice that straws don’t come in your beverages at coffee shops and restaurants. That’s because straws are only available per request. Another item to keep in your day bag is a reusable water bottle. Personal-size single-use water bottles are no longer for sale in Breckenridge. Fill up on some of the best tap water in the country between adventures with water refill stations throughout town. With these local tips, you’ll save money, keep Breckenridge clean, and B Like Breckenridge!
