B Like Breckenridge Tip: Bring Your Own Bags & Bottles
Breckenridge runs on small acts that make a big impact. Skip the single-use plastic and pack your own reusable bag, bottle, and utensils when shopping or dining.
Here’s what to know:
- No plastic bags – We’re 100% plastic-bag-free, and paper bags come with a small fee. Bring or purchase one of our souvenir-worthy reusable bags to use throughout your trip—and long after you return home.
- Straws and to-go utensils – Available only upon request at restaurants and dining establishments. Help us reduce waste by requesting only what you need.
- Single-use water bottles – Personal-size plastic water bottles aren’t sold in town. Instead, you’ll find free refill stations throughout Breckenridge, filled with pure Rocky Mountain tap water for your reusable bottle.
