Schedule a couples massage or spa treatment of your choice from the extensive options at Harmony Health Massage & Wellness, or enjoy an ayurvedic treatment or healing energy work at Ambika Herbals. Many lodges and hotels in Breckenridge offer spa services- spend the day soaking in the hot tub between treatments with a glass of bubbly and a view.

 

Get Outside

Relax and take in the views on a Sleigh Ride with Breck Stables.

Cross-Country Ski or Snowshoe: If you’re looking to be a little more active, try renting cross country skis or snowshoes at Breckenridge Nordic Center. After your adventure on the trails, take time to unwind in their beautiful handcrafted log lodge. As you take in the stunning views from the cozy lodge, bask in the warmth of their family style lounge and large fireplace while enjoying food and drink specials.

Private Sleigh Ride: It’s winter and that means it’s the perfect time for a private sleigh ride in the heart of the Rocky Mountains! Breckenridge Stables offers scenic rides with great views of the Ten Mile Range and the Continental Divide. Hot chocolate and blankets included! If you’re willing to drive a few miles down Tiger Road past the Gold Course, Golden Horseshoe Tours offers private dinner sleigh rides amidst snow-capped mountain views and starry night skies and even dinner-theater excursions. Their drivers will welcome you and fellow guests aboard the draft mule-team-driven sleighs and provide blankets to warm you for the ride. Upon arrival at the backcountry camp, the old-fashioned fun continues inside a cozy lantern-lit, wood-stove heated cabin. Your evening includes a hearty three-course, home-cooked meal with live musical entertainment.

Nordic Snowcat Adventure: Join Breckenridge Nordic Center’s fun-loving staff in one of their state of the art snowcats. The tall glass cabins are perfect for experiencing historic Legend forests in heated comfort with a stop for s’mores and hot chocolate at one of their destination huts.

Sledding at Carter Park: A day playing in the snow is a free way to enjoy the outdoors while giving your legs a break from skiing. Grab your toboggan, saucer or any slider or glider of your choice and get ready for a fun day of sledding at the Carter Park Sledding Hill. The sledding hill is free for all to use and is a perfect afternoon activity for you and your significant other to feel like kids again.

Fat Bike Beer and Distillery Tour: Guided fat bike tours are becoming a more popular way for beginners to learn the sport and for more advanced riders to find good trails. Either hit Breckenridge’s hundreds of miles of trails or embark on a fat bike beer and distillery tour if you’re looking to see more of town. Enjoy scenic views along the Blue River on the way to the world’s highest distillery, and Breckenridge’s newest Brewery, Broken Compass.

Escape Rooms: Escape rooms are all the rage right now in Breckenridge! Just choose your favorite theme and test how well you and your partner solve clues and puzzles to try to escape. It’s also perfect for a group date with all your friends!

Art Classes & Workshops: Breckenridge is the perfect place to try something new with a loved one. Our historic arts district offers drop-in art classes for all levels. Try throwing pottery in a ceramics class, test your skills in woodworking, or even solder some jewelry in a metal-smith class. Not only will you have fun crafting, you get to take home a one-of-a-kind souvenir.

Head to the world’s highest distillery for a special Valentine’s day dinner.

After a big day playing in the snow, head out for a night on the town and try some of Breckenridge’s Most Romantic Restaurants. Grab drinks at one of many bars right in town, and don’t forget to grab some happy-hour deals at Aurum featuring half-priced menu items, half priced wines by the glass, $3 draft beer and $7 classic Cocktails!

Head to the World’s Highest Distillery for special a multi-course Valentine’s Dinner including a St. Valentines Punch. Relax in the Cupid’s Whisky Lounge before heading to the dining room to enjoy award winning spirits. Make Reservations.

For additional Valentine’s day specials, check out Ember or Twist, both offering delicious 3-course meals in a casual but elegant atmosphere.

Many of Breckenridge’s restaurants are on OpenTable, and we suggest booking ahead of time, especially for Valentine’s Day. If you’re going to a restaurant that doesn’t accept reservations, plan to arrive a little earlier than normal and expect a wait. Put your name down early and then take a relaxing stroll down Main Street to look at the holiday lights up year-round. Warm up with hot cocoa from one of the many coffee shops in town and visit Breckenridge’s unique, locally owned boutiques.

If you prefer to stay in, order take-out from one of the many delicious restaurants in town. Stop by Ridge Street Wine to pick up some wine, cheese and chocolate for a romantic evening by the fireplace. For flowers, call BloomPetal & Bean or just swing by City Market to make your own arrangement and pair with a Red Box movie.
