    The best way to explore Breckenridge is with your own two feet.

    Leave the car at home. The only form of transportation you need in Breckenridge is you.  Visitors from all over the globe agree that the best way to explore Breckenridge is by walking our historic as Main Street spans just eight blocks and much of the town’s lodging is within walking distance. Access the mountain in minutes with the BreckConnect Gondola’s year-round free scenic ride to the base Peak 8 of the ski resort. If you’re looking to venture further, Breckenridge’s free bus service offers access to most of town and the free Summit Stage transit system serves the entire county, including other nearby ski resorts. We’ve also got taxis, Uber, Lift and Zipcar for your convenience.
