SAY HELLO TO THESE GENTLE GIANTS ON A BRECKENRIDGE SLEIGH RIDE THROUGH THE FOREST.

Wintertime nostalgia comes in the form of cherry-red sleighs, Belgian draft horses and freshly fallen snow.

Golden Horseshoe Sleigh Rides offers a hot cocoa scenic sleigh ride into the backcountry just outside of Breckenridge. Nestle into blankets and sip a steaming mug while you take in the peaceful forested solitude. Or kick it up a notch with the full mining camp dinner theater and sleigh ride experience complete with cocoa, blankets, a three-course cowboy dinner among antique wood stoves and a hilarious live interactive show by Colorado characters of the past. Breckenridge Stables offers scenic or dinner sleigh rides out of two locations in Breckenridge, including Peak 9 and Gold Run Nordic Center- enjoy 360 degree views as you relax and enjoy going back in time. If you choose the dinner option, you will be dropped off halfway through your ride at a yurt on the mountain for a buffet style meal with live entertainment.

Embrace Mountain Tradition with Swiss Fondue

Summon 18th Century Switzerland and gather around a hearth of melty gooey gourmet cheese at The Swiss Haven Restaurant. Dip hunks of baked bread into your choice of mild to full-bodied fine imported cheeses. Opt for meat fondues or seafood fondues and finish your feast with a pot of chocolate fondue served with strawberries, bananas, brownies and marshmallows.

It’s a riot and fun for all ages.
