Summary
Join the Breckenridge Tourism Office (BTO) marketing team as versatile and highly collaborative Content and Marketing Coordinator with a focus on managing all aspects of the organization’s organic social media platforms, social listening, email campaigns, and website content to boost brand awareness and loyalty.
With content that shines across various platforms, you will be at the forefront of developing and implementing social media and email calendars, posting content, managing email deployment, measuring KPIs and reporting on performance. You will be our industry expert on emerging social trends.
This locally based role requires a blend of creativity and strategy that aligns with the BTO goals, vision, and brand. If you have a strong social media business foundation, and the flexibility to foster productive and collaborative relationships with partners and staff internally and externally, we’d love to hear from you.
We’re looking for either a full-time candidate to perform all social media, email marketing, and website updates, or two part-time candidates, one who would focus solely on social media content creation and management, and one who would focus on email marketing and website updates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Content Creation:
- Manage day to day coordination and content curation for captivating posts for social platforms ensuring that content is creative and aligned with BTO destination focused marketing strategies and brand voice, ultimately driving social engagement.
Strategy Development:
- Develop a social content calendar and roadmap that outlines content type, posting schedule and overall campaign tone that aligns with a balanced seasonal destination and occasional sustainability messaging strategy.
Platform Management:
- Manage BTO’s social platforms in accordance with brand guidelines to include Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube and other digital / social platforms as needed.
Analytics & Reporting:
- Utilize Meltwater to monitor monthly social performance, BTO share of voice and online reputation. Analyze reports, identify areas of opportunity, and monitor performance metrics to align with key performance indicators (KPIs) for organic social engagement.
- Email Marketing Manages email marketing campaigns end-to-end, managing email database health, data segmentation and creating newsletters, automations and pulling analytics for monthly reporting.
- Website Support Support Marketing Manager to ensure all content on GoBreck.com is current, accurate, and drives engagement by updating links, copy and imagery.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar with 1-3 years of experience.
- Creative inspiration and expressiveness in creating shareable content resonating with BTO’s destination audiences.
- Strong understanding of different social media platforms and their best practices.
- Proficiency in shooting & editing high-quality photos and videos.
- Experience managing social media platforms using engaging storytelling and meticulous editing skills.
- Ability to analyze social media data and pivot with new digital trends or business needs.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Adobe Photoshop / Canva / photo editing software a plus.
